We couldn't do this work alone. Since 1904, YWCA Mount Desert Island has relied on the generosity of partners who believe in a safer, more connected MDI — and we're proud to work alongside corporations, foundations and organizations that share our mission of eliminating racism and empowering women.

YWCA MDI does not receive federal or state funding. Everything we do — from lodging to mutual aid to community programs — is made possible by private donors, sponsors, neighbors and friends who care about our mission. Your support isn't a supplement to our work; it is our work.

Together, we're able to support women and families in need, connect neighbors to critical resources, work towards building attainable housing on MDI and stand up for social justice across our community. We welcome new sponsors and partners who want to help us grow that impact — whether through funding, in-kind support or hands-on collaboration.
